One of my proudest recent achievements is the fact that I was included in the list of Texas Super Lawyers® Rising Stars℠ from 2009-2015. Super Lawyers® is a publication and rating service that provides an unbiased ranking to assist members of the general public in the task of finding top-level legal representation.

The Super Lawyers® lists are based on an exhaustive process of peer nominations and peer reviews, and no more than 5 percent of attorneys statewide are included. The Rising Stars℠ list is an even more prestigious accomplishment, available only to lawyers who are under the age of 40 or who have been practicing for less than a decade, and it includes no more than 2.5 percent of lawyers in the state.

In addition to being included in the Rising Stars℠ list, I have also earned the distinction of the 10.0 Superb Avvo Rating. The Avvo ratings are based on a proprietary formula that takes into account factors including an attorney's experience, recognition in the industry, and his or her track record of professional conduct. The result of this computation is a numerical rating, with 10.0 being the highest available score that a lawyer can achieve.
